Built with the intention of being the car that “a chap could keep in his bike shed” and wearing a price tag of £669 ($870), the Austin-Healey Sprite targeted the “everyman” and was one of the company’s first post-war designs.
Throughout its five year production run (1958-1971), the Sprite would see four iterations—the Mark I, II, III and IV.
Photographed here, our 1966 Austin-Healey Sprite MK III went through a complete restoration in 2014 when purchased from long-term Tennessee ownership. Finished in Tartan Red over a Black interior, this little British icon has been very well documented and is in fantastic overall condition.
